We are bringing AAU baseball back to the Midwest starting this year with four qualifying State tournaments and a Heartland State Baseball Tournament (Kansas, Missouri,Nebraska) at the end of the season. We are very exited about being able to run AAU tournaments in this area.

AAU as an organization has been around for over 100 years and provides excellent national support for tournament baseball. When you play in one of our tournaments each of your players and coaches will need a yearly AAU membership. The membership includes ten million dollars in health insurance that covers players whether they are playing in an AAU sanctioned event or in an organized event sponsored by any other organization. Further, the membership provides insurance year-round for any supervised sport AAU plays. Many teams purchase AAU memberships instead of team insurance.

Heartland Baseball is a partnership of four former youth tournament baseball coaches whose sons play on a 15 year old major team. Between us, we have over 30 years of baseball coaching experience and have coached in many, many different tournaments. Last year the boys went to AAU Nationals in Sarasota, Florida and it was, hands down, the best baseball tournament any of us had seen put on. At that time, the four of us decided to see if we could bring AAU back to this area.

We know that there are many ways to run a baseball tournament and sometimes the little things can make a big difference in the players, coaches and parents experience. Our goal is to provide the best baseball tournament experience possible-- from start to finish.
